  • Abstract
SIG (spatial information grid) is a spatial information infrastructure which has the ability of demand serving, also it is a mass spatial information resource which could collect and share geographic distribution data. However, currently, many problems are exited in the spatial information resource locating method of SIG, they are especially the excessive net bandwidths it takes, overlong resource locating time and low stability. To solve the problems mentioned above, improved SIG net levels and a P2P model based on the spatial data agent of query agent are presented according to the characteristics of spatial information service in this paper. With this model, an improved DHT algorithm has been studied, and the performance of the algorithm has been analyzed, the result shows that the algorithm in this paper is superior to general resource positioning algorithm in robustness, net bandwidth saving and efficiency of resource locating.
