Abstract
Polyphase codes derived from linear-frequency-modulation, such as P3 and P4 codes, are a common class of pulse compression waveforms. Several side-lobe reduction techniques have been proposed which can be used for those codes. This paper shows and compares the Doppler response performances of P3 and P4 codes when several different side-lobe reduction techniques are employed, including the output peak side-lobe level (PSL) and the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) loss. Some simulation results are shown
