Abstract
Focusing on the Fixed Mobile Substitution (FMS) in WCDMA system, we address a zone configuration problem. The problem is to find center directions of sectorized antenna formation and angular width of sectors by RF fingerprint data. The RF fingerprint data contains cell-ID, as the form of reference Pilot Number (PN), and Radio Signal Strength Index (RSSI). We show a fingerprint map of reference PN and calculate center direction and angular width of sectors. By the appropriate estimation of center direction and angular width, we make economic planning for FMS subscriber penetration. The scheduled subscriber penetration plan gives critical impact to radio resource planning for commercial service providers.
