  • Abstract
    This paper looks at the reliability and safety aspects of computer architectures. We present three configurations of transputer based architectures to demonstrate the improvements as far as reliability of the system is concerned. Relative merits and demerits of each configuration are discussed. A simple application of mapping the accelerator pedal angle to the throttle angle is realized using these architectures
