Abstract
This paper introduces the raindrop size distribution measurement system, and focus on the method of processing and converting of original experiment data. The preliminary results of raindrop size distribution in Xi´an are obtained by calculating the experiment data from Jan.2010 to Aug.2010. The raindrop size distribution characteristics are compared with the M-P and Weibull spectrum model, and detail analyses are also provided. The results have important theoretical and practical value for researches of electromagnetic waves propagation, scattering effect and wireless communication system in rainfall environment.
