  • Abstract
    Most of mobile computing service models are developed on client/agent/server model, which usually require smart mobile devices. However, in enterprise commercial applications, the smart devices are strict with the client software adaptations and service resource forms, by which the applying scope of them is limited greatly. Non-smart devices, which are nearly 90% of the mobile communications market, are not considered. Although the computing power of each of non-smart devices is weak, they could form a great mobile computing network if they were organized effectively. For this case, a new intelligent mobile computing service model is proposed and implemented. This model doesn´t have high requirements for the mobile devices. It has the context-aware function and can adjust service pattern dynamically. The model also has the fast self-adapted and the service expansion mechanism. It improves the situation when the band-width is taken, and provides a relatively reliable quality service.
