  • Abstract
With the development of communication technology and human society´s unceasing approach to a higher level of informationization, research on Internet of Things (IOT) is being continuously extended in breadth and depth. The set up of many different types of networks in large scale will bring about the concepts of network hierarchical network domain. Different from the Internet or sensor networks, IOT is based on the extension of the Internet, thus inherited both its complexity of Internet services and its complexity of structure. This article focuses on the complicated laws that gradually emerged out of IOT and describes its characteristics based on previous work done on the IOT and with the help of an analysis on wireless sensor network and Internet network. The possible impacts of these characteristics on the future development of IOT is also considered and discussed.
