Abstract
Exquisite properties of HTS filters employed in cellular phone base station receivers lead to reduced adjacent band interference, increased coverage and better spectrum utilization, and hence in increased revenue for communication providers. There are approximately 1000 HTS front-end mobile radio receivers working commercially in USA and Asia, and they are predicted to make a significant impact on the 3 rd generation of wireless communications. This paper presents a summarized review of HTS filters and their properties introduced by various companies and research groups in the last three years
