  • Abstract
    This paper regards the implementation of micro electronics into the bodies of MEMS compatible case-less ammunition. These electronic devices can range from RFID tags to ultrasonic transducers for item location to wireless micro cameras that are all wired into the detachable head of a rocket-like bullet projectile. Drag stabilization allows for a non-spin stabilized projectile in which micro electronics can be embedded. This drag stabilization reduces the centripetal force to zero and thus highly contributes to the survivability of the electronics used in the particular ammunition.
