Abstract
Consistency criteria adopted for the transactional management of shared objects define the degree of allowable interleaving between concurrent transactions. This paper presents an application aware adaptable framework for mobile environments that uses an adaptable Quality of Service specification. The utility of such a specification is illustrated by the use of an adaptable transaction consistency criterion for mobile environments
