Abstract
A multicriteria fuzzy expert system is developed for process control based on multicriteria fuzzy control (MFC). The basic idea underlying the MFC is based on analyzing the source of attributes of the system output responses and applying the fuzzy measure and integral theory to the existing fuzzy logic control. By the MFC, we can obtain desired output responses by tuning the fuzzy measure of consideration grade of each attribute. The fuzzy expert system selects a set of the fuzzy measures of the MFC for the desired output response satisfying prespecified time-domain specification. For this end, it examines features of each transient response and the corresponding set of fuzzy measures. By this system, lots of tuning effort and time can be saved for the desired output response satisfying the design specifications. The performance of the proposed scheme is demonstrated via experiments for temperature control of a drying oven
