Abstract
A 622 MHz LVDS driver is implemented in a standard 0.18-μm digital CMOS technology as a stand-alone dual pad for an I/O library. The driver draws 23 mW of static power from a 1.8 V power supply, occupies an active area (excluding ESD protection circuitry) of 0.022 mm 2 and is fully compatible with the IEEE LVDS standard for reduced-range links
