Preface

The International Conference on Systems, Architectures, MOdeling and Simulation (SAMOS) is an annual three-day meeting, which brings together researchers from both Academia and Industry. The conference takes place on the Samos island, one of the most beautiful and inspiring Greek islands, where researchers have the possibility to discuss the latest advancements in applications, architectures, software, design tools and methodologies for embedded system design. SAMOS is a unique conference given that it aims to foster collaboration rather than competition and provides the right balance between formal and informal sessions. Formal and intensive technical sessions are only held in the mornings, whereas the afternoons and evenings are reserved for informal discussions, good food, and outdoor activities.
