Abstract
GSM/UMTS mobile networks deployed by operators are not static, but they are continuously evolving. They need periodic adjustments, expansion and optimization. Subscribers demand good quality in the services they use and pay for, as well as new innovative services that usually require higher speeds and bit rate. Being able to use an automatic optimization tool represents a major advantage for an operator, reducing the time spent on the optimization cycle. This paper describes one of these tools that has helped to reduce inconsistencies in the network.
