Abstract
RepliCAD, Honeywell´s replacement part design system, which provides a highly automated system for the verification of replacement part designs, is described. RepliCAD automates the tasks of SPICE simulation definition, execution, and analysis, and maximizes the available SPICE computing resources by automatically distributing the simulations across a network of SPICE servers on Apollo/Mentor workstations. It is concluded that RepliCAD has freed Honeywell´s engineers from the tasks of managing, executing, and monitoring simulations and has allowed them to be more productive
