Abstract
To meet the real-time demands of some vector miss distance measurement systems, a fast vector miss distance estimation algorithm is presented in this paper. A small antenna array is used for measuring the movement of a target. Doppler frequency and phase of the signal received by each antenna can be estimated by the proposed fast algorithm. The target motion parameters can be estimated by utilizing the estimated Doppler frequencies and phase differences among the receiving antennas. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed fast algorithm
