  • Abstract
    An auto-recognition method of ship with low resolution radar is presented in the paper using multi transform technique. The radar target echo is sampled and preprocessed to suppress clutter first. Then characteristic vectors of the target are extracted with FFT transform, Mellin transform, wavelet transform and frame correlation processing. Experiments are carried out for the proposed method with three kinds of real radar echo data of ship target, the results indicate that the characteristics vector extracted by the proposed method in this paper is valuable for target classification
