  • Abstract
In this paper, a novel speech emotion recognition scheme bases on intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) and discrimination information measures is proposed. Intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) is a new way of knowledge representation. In which, two character functions, the degree of membership (belongingness) and the degree of non-membership (non-belongingness), are adopted to describe the relation between the features and the patterns. The discrimination information is used to estimate the distance between the intuitionistic fuzzy sets in the paper. Finally, the experiment indicates that the method mentioned in this paper has a satisfying performance on the recognition of speech emotion.
