Abstract
An electronic jig has been designed, built, and tested with the purpose of investigating the radiation susceptibility (RS) of IC components. The problems of RS measurement for components of different complexity are outlined and it is proposed to build a library of comparative RS measurements for relatively simple devices. The limitations are discussed of the concept of component replacement without further qualification other than standardised jig measurements of radiation susceptibility of that component
