Abstract
Delay-dependent stability analysis of systems with multiple time-varying delays is considered. A smaller dimensional linear matrix inequality (LMI) involving less number of matrix variables compared to the method of He et al. 2004 is derived, which offers less constrained LMI and hence it is numerically advantageous. The results of this paper are illustrated by considering numerical examples and compared with existing approaches, which shows the effectiveness of the proposed stability criteria in terms of conservativeness in delay bound and also bears less computational complexity.
