Abstract
In this paper, a simple and efficient post-fast-Fourier-transform (FFT) beamforming scheme for OFDM systems is proposed. The carriers are uniformly divided into several groups in the proposed scheme. For each group, only one beamforming weight is calculated by using the pilot-based channel estimate in the frequency-domain. The remaining weights are linearly interpolated by using the pilot-based weighs. Compared to the existing techniques, the proposed approach exhibits computational simplicity with efficient performance
