Abstract
Code and carrier-phase multipath is still the important error sources in high-precision GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) applications, then a thorough understanding of code and carrier-phase multipath is the first step in the course of mitigating its impact in high precision applications. In virtually every study, however, the effects of autocorrelation function are neglected, and complete characterization of code and carrier-phase multipath error requires a fundamental theoretical description and mathematical modeling. Attention of this paper is focused primarily on the mathematical analysis on multipath error in terms of GNSS signals correlation function. The simulation results show a distinct change in the error envelope from that which has been derived previously using current GPS model for the autocorrelation function (ACF)
