Abstract
The paper presents the details of construction of a robotic arm with four degrees of freedom. The robotic arm is controlled by the Atmel ATmega16 IC, programmed by the WinAVR software, which provides the required direction and coordinates to the arm for it to accomplish a specified task. The working of the arm is simulated using the mechanix kit and stepper motors.
