  • Abstract
    The purpose of this paper is to educate motor users on the selection of anti-friction bearings. Particular emphasis has been placed on non L10 criteria as the author feels that this is a commonly overlooked area the consideration of factors such as minimum load, maintainability requirements, duty cycles, foreseeable contamination levels, overload tolerance, and misalignment capacity can help ensure a motor´s successful operation
