  • Abstract
    The design and realization of an on-line monitoring system for over-voltage of distribution grids was introduced. This device can monitor waveforms of varied over-voltage on 10 kV bus bar, monitor internal and atmospheric over-voltage, has high frequency response, short response time, and flexible adjustment of parameters. The system has become a long term and stable system in the Chongqing power grid. It can reflect the real over-voltages in power systems objectively and has provided strong scientific evidence for experts when analyzing insulation failures.
