Abstract
It is great significant to research on the measurement of central cities distance of information-state transition for the study of urban system. This paper puts forward the concept of the Urban Distance of Information-state Transition(UDIT) based on Distance of Information-state Transition (DIT), and builds the measurement model of UDIT. On this basis, this paper conducts empirical analysis of six cities at prefecture level of Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone in Jiangxi Province, carries out horizontal (among towns) and vertical (adjust the urban district before and after) comparative analysis, and points out its development strategies for reducing UDIT. This paper provides a new method and idea for the study of urban system.
