    The authors discuss the philosophy and applications of computer-graphic animation of time domain problems with emphasis on electromagnetic problems involving Maxwell equations. Topics covered include the representation of both scalar and vector information as well as a brief summary of animation techniques. Examples of computer animations of electrodynamics problems are considered
