Abstract
The Technical University of Graz (TU-Graz) enlarges the range of teaching methodologies by introducing multimedia learning and teaching. These are mainly based on the usage of the eLearning platform called eLS (eLearning Suite) by Hyperwave. Besides that platform several departments offer various specialized units and tools for eLearning. The Department of Electrical Power Systems has created a nearly complete series of lectures about electrical power systems with a special layout and design. The structure of the course-system follows international conclusions in the field of eLearning. Furthermore, a new multimedia project, the CD-ROM called EMF $electromagnetic fields, developed at the TU-Graz provides lots of teaching material and interactive applications on the EMF topic that can be used either at school or at a university.
