Abstract
A channel propagation measurement is conducted within the hallway of a building over 2-3 GHz for wireless HDTV application. First we measure wideband complex transmission data using a vector network analyzer. Then the path loss is calculated and fitted with a channel model. Both the path loss exponent and standard deviation are extracted. The power delay profile (PDP) is also derived. The time dispersion parameters and dominant propagation mechanisms are identified.
