Abstract
The refactored bi-iteration (RBI) method converges quickly when computing eigenvalue clusters of large power systems. In order to update eigenvalue estimates the RBI method needs to compute the eigenvalues of B(k) which has very low dimension. However, the order of these eigenvalues is difficult to decide, and improper order has adverse influence on convergence. In our algorithm the eigenvalue estimates are updated directly and convergence is improved
