Abstract
The issue of cutoff error in conventional dynamic matrix control algorithm (DMC) can be solved by modifying the shifting matrix when applied to integrating processes, but the system will reach a different steady state if the process encounters a continuous and constant disturbance. Based on the modified shifting matrix, a novel error correction method is introduced to compensate for the process state, which will be regulated gradually and recovered to its steady set-point finally. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can guarantee good tracking performance and disturbance rejection simultaneously.
