Abstract
This paper proposes a modeling procedure of synchronous machine with admittance networks. Load and stator are modeled in a conventional way, i.e. in dq frame. The accent is given to inaccessible parts of the machine (rotor). Hence, the rotorpsilas circuit is modeled with admittance functions. The order of the system, which depends on the desired precision, does not modify the equations set. Parameters identification is based on frequency test at standstill and particle swarm optimization algorithm.
