  • Abstract
    The contouring performance of a positioning system for an X-Y table has important applications in machining. This paper examines using a disturbance observer to match the dynamics of both the x and y axis of an X-Y table. It is shown that by matching the dynamics of both axes, the contour performance can be improved.
