  • Abstract
    Considering the specific characteristics of diagnostic problems, based on set-covering and certainty factors, a multi-faults diagnosis model is presented and a solving algorithm of the model is given in this paper. It makes up for the shortcoming of “single-fault hypothesis” which most diagnostic methods have used. The model is an effective attempt for multi-faults problem solving
