  • Abstract
The discrete pseudo Wigner distribution is a valuable tool for time-frequency signal analysis of non-stationary signals. However, artificial spectral peaks called cross-components are appeared in the Wigner distribution of multicomponent signals. Even in the case of only one component signals, the cross-components are appeared by the nonlinear variation of the signal frequency. This paper introduces a technique to eliminate the cross-components of the exponentially swept signals by varying the sampling rate
