Abstract
Pulse train control technique for the control of buck converter operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) is studied in this paper. The operating principles of voltage-mode and current-mode pulse train control techniques are discussed and compared. The operation states of the pulse train control buck converter under different input voltage and load conditions are analyzed. The simulation and experimental results are given to verify the theory analysis for pulse train control buck converter.
