  • Abstract
    In this paper, an integrated intelligent controller is proposed with hierarchical control structure, the principle of hierarchical control structure was analyzed, and a method is proposed to coordinate linear Supervisory Predictive Control (SPC). To achieve a better performance in controlling large-scale systems, a stochastic probability density functions (PDFs) coordination rule is applied in coordination level, a set of coordinating signals are generated using the coordinator and sent to the next level. As a study case, an integrated plant which consists of two subunits is used to demonstrate the feasibility and efficiency of this framework. Experimental results show that the proposed method can guarantee local optimal solution for dominant controlled variables approximating their global optimal solution among subunits on closed-loop stability condition.
