Abstract
Nowadays the need for sharing and exchanging information is becoming more and more important. Semantic conflicting is one of main problems that face integration of heterogeneous manufacturing systems based on different dada sources and structure. Based on ontology, this paper proposes an integration framework for manufacturing systems. An ontology-based knowledge integration mechanism is proposed in this research, including PLIB Ontology model and Data Model Patterns. The Extended PLIB ontology library is composed of two parts: PLIB ontology based on the PLIB standard and semantic feature ontology. At last, the realization method and farther work are introduced. Now, the prototype system has been tested in our lab.
