Abstract
A new stability criterion based on numerical computing and simulation for nonlinear time-invariant systems is presented. It provides a standard and simple way to construct the energy-like function. The relevant proof has been given to justify this stability criterion. In the environment of MATLAB, this method is successfully applied on a practical industrial process control system with time-delay. The validity of this stability criterion is proved.
