Abstract
In this paper, the author provides a set of main/auxiliary logistics control strategy and specifies mathematical model from the view point of logistics supply for mixed-model assembly process. A feasible Poka-yoke (Error-Proofing) control system based on the strategy which integrated database and indication units with central computer system is also developed to improve the assembly quality. Finally, an effective application of control system for mixed-model assembly lines (MMAL) to manufacture auto transmission is given to verify the effectiveness of proposed strategy.
