  • Abstract
    In this paper, a CAD method is introduced for analyzing photonic crystal structures. In this method, the combination of a neuro-fuzzy network and simulated annealing algorithm is used. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by a test example and it was found 30 times faster. Using this CAD method, new photonic crystal topologies were optimized. It was shown that all optimized structures converge to circular shapes.
