  • Abstract
The suppression of higher harmonics is realised due to the increase of the pulsation index p of multiconverters. Two principal methods are known of the increase of p: the method of introducing the angle of phase difference between the primaries and secondaries of the transformer feeding the converters, and the increase of the number of phases q connected to the parallel double connections. The classical method of phase difference angle utilised supposes the technique of special arrangement of the converter transformers where the connection is a zig-zag, when the nonconventional method consists of increasing the electric phases (phases) feeding the connections. This paper illustrates these two methods for aiding 4-6 and 3-5 phase converters
