  • Abstract
The research is divided into two parts. The first part is a rating experiment of KABUKI dramas using the SD method and an analysis of the rated data using the principal component analysis. Following these analyses, the author decided the number of fundamental emotions to be seven. In the second part, the author tried to define the seven fundamental emotions. Accordingly, the first part can be explained more precisely
