  • Abstract
    A thermal noise measurement system in W-band has been developed for noise standards. A horn-type cryogenic noise source operating at liquid nitrogen boiling temperature and an ambient temperature termination have been employed as reference noise sources for two distinct standard noise temperatures. In order to measure noise power radiated from the noise sources, a W-band waveguide radiometer was designed and constructed. Preliminary results of a waveguide diode noise source were presented.
