  • Abstract
    Using VNA and VSG, this paper proposes a frequency-domain approach for characterizing modulated RF signals with fine spectral resolution. Such method can achieve the phase measurement under a minimum tone-spacing of 1 kHz in practice, around interested carrier frequency points at several gigahertzes. The experimental result confirms the validity of such method for at least 200 tones around 2.4 GHz.
