  • Abstract
    A novel receiver structure for single carrier Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting (DTTB) system is presented. We suggested a combination of frequency domain DFE scheme with a MRC receiver diversity block, accordingly a frequency domain maximum ratio combing decision feedback filter (FD-MRC-DFE) structure is obtained. The overall system diagram is given and the detailed derivation process of theoretical optimal filter coefficients is also demonstrated. Field tests were carried out to validate the equalizer´s performance. It shows that the proposed equalizer gained significant promotion; meanwhile it has practical value to apply such a scheme in reality receiver.
