Based on the identification of major EMI sources in power semiconductor inverter circuits a novel EMC compliant power MOSFET driver architecture (patented EP 0756 782 Bl) with switching times as low as 200 ns is presented. The driver is part of an EC motor controller test chip. Measurements on the demonstration board prove the performance
