Syllable similarity and its application in speech recognition

It is a bottleneck of application of speech recognition that the accuracy of speech engine is not high enough. But in some cases we may obtain ideal accuracy using context knowledge. If speech input is one element of a finite set, we can improve the accuracy greatly using syllable similarity. In this paper we first describe the definition of syllable similarity, then give procedure of design and development of speech inquire system based syllable similarity.
