Abstract
Internal stress in quartz crystals was determined by measuring Faraday rotation angle change. The influence of internal stress on the value of Faraday rotation angle exchange was established by direct measurements of Faraday rotation angle exchange with external mechanical strain from 0 to 240 kG. Crystals after growth are shown to have a higher P-value (internal stress index) than after aging by storing
