Switching Regulators I

The emphasis on continuing improvement of the analytical procedures for predicting the perform??ance of switching regulators is present again at this years conference, along with a balanced mix??ture of new design procedures for the basic con??verter configurations and the associated con??trollers. This session includes papers on practical design considerations on two approaches to the implementation of control laws for converter systems. One of these makes use of a frequency??-modulation control law, while another goes in the digital direction, complete with system clock, counters, and comparators for digitally processing the feedback signal from the converter output.
